Refund & Cancellation Policy
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to purchases made on County Outpost for digital services and paid features (collectively, “Paid Services”), such as posting in paid categories, listing boosts, featured placement, extensions, sponsorships, or similar upgrades.
1) Digital Services — General Rule
Paid Services are digital and are typically delivered by activating a feature on your account or listing. Once a Paid Service has been delivered/activated, it is non-refundable unless required by law.
2) Cancellations (Before Delivery)
If a Paid Service has not yet been delivered/activated, you may request cancellation. If we confirm it was not delivered/activated, we will cancel it and issue a refund back to the original payment method.
3) Moderation Holds and Rejected Content
Some paid postings or upgrades may be held for review to ensure compliance with our Terms and Acceptable Use Policy.
If a paid posting is rejected before it goes live due to policy or legal restrictions, we will, at our option: (a) issue a refund for that specific Paid Service, or (b) provide a credit to be used for a compliant posting or upgrade. If the Paid Service was already delivered/activated and later removed for policy reasons, it is generally non-refundable.
4) Billing Errors & Duplicate Charges
If you believe you were charged incorrectly (for example: duplicate charge, wrong amount, or charged for a service you did not request), contact us within 7 days of the charge so we can investigate. If a billing error is confirmed, we will correct it, which may include issuing a refund.
5) Refund Timing
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing times vary by bank, but typically post within 5–10 business days.
6) Chargebacks
If you have a billing question, contact us first so we can help. Filing an unjustified chargeback may result in account restrictions and removal of listings, to the extent permitted by law and payment network rules.
7) Changes to Services
County Outpost may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Changes do not entitle users to refunds unless explicitly stated or required by law.
