Our Thoughts

Classifieds are for people first. Anyone can post and get one free ad (per phone number) in most categories. If anyone wants more than one ad at a time, they need to pay for extra spots. This helps real neighbors, not spam.
Photos are limited on purpose. We only allow one photo in certain categories. This keeps the website fast, light, and cheaper to run so we can keep offering free options.
Events are for real local life. Post things your neighbors care about: school games, church dinners, club meetings, fairs, meet-ups. Not endless “sale” ads.
The directory is for local service providers. It’s for real local businesses and people: plumbers, lawn kids, handymen, tutors, dog walkers, and more. We will remove the service brokers that have infected other sites. Big chain stores and national brands are not the focus.
Anyone can sponsor or buy ads. If you want to support the site, you can buy ad blocks or become a sponsor. That helps keep County Outpost running for the whole community.
